WHY THE CLOUD?

FrigoService Inc faced a common challenge among companies that handle large volumes of data: the need to obtain relevant information from the sales area quickly, accurately, and securely, without relying on predefined reports or manual processes. To overcome this barrier, in partnership with IVCISA, the company set out to develop a custom conversational agent based on generative AI (GenAI).

A chatbot, powered by Amazon Bedrock and advanced models such as Claude 3, makes it possible to answer analytical queries in natural language, optimizing the time spent searching for and analyzing data.

For FrigoService Inc, this project represents more than a chatbot: it is an evolution toward more agile, semi-autonomous decision-making. Interaction with data is now more natural and fluid, and the time spent searching for or processing information has been considerably reduced.

Project objectives

Before incorporating generative AI (GenAI), FrigoService Inc had experience with digital tools, but it identified the need to speed up access to analytical information. Sales queries required time and staff to generate the reports or data needed to gain visibility into the business.

It was therefore concluded that the sales area needed a tool that would allow real-time, custom queries without requiring deep technical knowledge or dependence on manual processes. These processes, while functional, were not optimized to respond with the necessary speed.

In addition, it was necessary to consolidate information from different sources such as SAP Business One into a single, secure environment to facilitate analysis. This lack of centralization affected the speed of decision-making, where real-time information is crucial.

Another aspect worth noting was the need to ensure security and confidentiality. Access to critical information had to be restricted and encrypted, which required an architecture with high protection standards.

Results

Implementing the solution alongside IVCISA allowed FrigoService Inc. to transform its ability to obtain and analyze data, significantly optimizing its decision-making process. As part of this project, Atlas by IVCISA was developed—a generative AI (GenAI) chatbot built on the solid infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Atlas by IVCISA is a scalable solution designed to maximize the analysis and use of sales data while maintaining strict privacy and security standards. Based on Amazon Bedrock and advanced models such as Claude 3, the chatbot delivers agile, accurate responses, boosting the company's operational efficiency.
