Company history

ImpaKt is a startup founded more than a year ago in Costa Rica, focused on supporting SMEs through tech marketing—artificial intelligence for marketing and sales.

Although it initially served larger companies, today, with its new SaaS business model, it helps small entrepreneurs generate demand and increase sales using AI.

Through its SAM platform (Sales Attraction Manager), ImpaKt offers the SME sector an all-in-one option where they can run their marketing activities, view lead-tracking statistics, and achieve better results, because the effort goes into making contact and generating more sales.

For ImpaKt, SMEs are an anchor of economies, which is why it seeks to deliver better advantages to this sector through technology.

WHY THE CLOUD?

As a startup with growth projections, ImpaKt set itself the goal of modernizing its current architecture on the AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud in order to improve the accessibility of its platform's services.

The aim was to bring robustness, security, and above all scalability to its services platform, and to keep it available to its clients regardless of the number of users accessing it.

With this in mind, ImpaKt sought greater speed and efficiency when scaling resources while maintaining business operations, so it could focus on innovating and developing its products.

It therefore decided to begin its project alongside IVCISA as an Advanced Partner specialized in AWS, to support its strategy to modernize its cloud architecture and make it more fault-tolerant and scalable according to business needs.

Project objectives

Already familiar with Amazon Web Services, ImpaKt's partners quickly recognized that, if they wanted to grow rapidly over the coming years, the most viable way to stay scalable and secure was to use AWS services through a partner that had the expertise they were looking for.

As Co-Founder and CTO Ricardo Argüello explains, “We knew AWS was the platform where we needed to be if we wanted security, scalability, and to keep our services 100% available. Even if 10,000 clients sign on tomorrow, it can't go down.”

For the Co-Founder, having a solid infrastructure was extremely important, given the company's growth projections for the coming years and the strategic alliances signed with multinationals in financial services, such as Mastercard, and in social media, such as Meta.

This is how ImpaKt began conversations with IVCISA as the specialized AWS partner selected to support its goals of transforming its infrastructure into one that was more flexible, available, scalable, and elastic.

Results

The scalability and security of our platform were the greatest benefits and results obtained from migrating the infrastructure to the AWS cloud, as summarized by Co-Founder and CTO Ricardo Argüello.
